Description

Before starting One Day Company, Sarah Jayne Fell worked at Design Indaba from 2012 on both the flagship conference and their online publication designindaba.com, which took over from Design Indaba Magazine. Sarah worked for Design Indaba from 2012 to 2015 as first content manager and then digital product manager. This included managing all digital properties including the main company website and online publication, designindaba.com, and the company’s two apps for iOS and Android, as well as other websites and digital projects such as Anotherlightup. She also started the company’s Instagram and Pinterest social media accounts, Wikipedia pages, wrote their in-house style guide and got them onto Mailchimp to manage their newsletters and contact database.

After starting One Day Company, from April 2015 until October 2017 Sarah worked on a consulting basis for Design Indaba, project managing the digital team on website and app development, web design and user experience as well as training new staff on content management and online publishing best practice. She occasionally writes for the website too.

In 2018, One Day Company were hired to build the Festival App for the annual Design Indaba Festival held in Cape Town, including all design, content management and user experience for the annual conference and festival held in Cape Town.
