the brief

Carol needed a website that could serve as a portfolio for her award-winning ceramics, as well as offer news and information about her art classes for adults.

Befitting an artist, Carol wanted something with great visual appeal and ample space for beautiful images of her work. The site had to be easy to use, and also easy to manage.

the Solution

We opted for a clean, simple design to showcase the work and make information easy to find.

Icons on the homepage allow for easy navigation to the main areas of the site.

Large images allow the beautiful artworks to speak for themselves. Galleries of her work means Carol can add new work as she finishes it.

A blog section allows Carol to share her news with her art students, friends, fans and buyers, while also keeping her site relevant and improving SEO.

Social integration promotes her active Facebook page and contact details in the sidebar makes it easy for prospective buyers, media and interested students to contact her directly at her home studio.
