Design Joburg launched its inaugural interior design tradeshow in 2017, with Media 10, the UK-based event company behind London Design Festival, Clerkenwell Design Week and Design Shanghai. We were brought on as the social media team to establish the new Design Joburg brand on social media, manage all content production, design and implementation for all the social media accounts – both throughout the year and live from the event – as well as handle all community engagement and social media advertising.
For 2017 we set Design Joburg up on social media, focussing on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Our priority was to grow the base while establishing the brand online, and promoting the event and its content to potential event attendees and exhibitors.
For 2018 it was about elevating the content output of the brand to retain excitement about the show, bring on board new and repeat exhibitors, and encourage visitors to attend the 2nd show.
